1st Annual Illinois Matmen High School Challenge

Schedule:
Weigh-ins: 6:30-8:00 AM
Wrestling: 9:00 AM (6 Mats)
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled in high school and must have competed in the IHSA state series
Weight Classes: 103, 112, 119, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 152, 160, 171, 189, 215, 285
There will be a 4-pound weight allowance (i.e. 103 weight class will be 107 pounds). You cannot enter a weight class below the weight class you wrestled during the 2008-09 IHSA state series (regionals, sectionals, individual state). You may enter at the weight you wrestled during the IHSA state series or higher.
Matches: All matches will be 2, 2, 2 in the championship bracket. All consolation matches will be 1, 1 1/2, 1 1/2. There will be full wrestle-backs to 3rd place in the consolation bracket.
Awards: The top four (4) place finishers in each weight class will receive awards.
Team Scoring: There will be no team scoring.
Registration: Online registration is now closed.
Entry Fee: Only $25 (Proceeds go towards Illinois Matmen and the Morris High School Prom-fest)
