and he kept the other kid from scoring which is huge in team scoring for these duals. Illinois lead 23-21 thru 152

These 2 teams have not only wrestled to a close team score, but most of the matches were very close and could have gone either way. Regardless of the outcome today, I wouldn't be surprised to see these two squads meet again in the finals tomorrow.

Its not gonna be easy to defend that title tomorrow... but we will.

Final score 36-33 PA over IL
We lost 3 of the last 5 matches in 3 periods, so this could easily have gone the other way. On the same token, we won the close 3 period matches in the middle weights, so I can see either of these teams eeking out a close one or one team ahead comfortably in the team scoring with tight matches throughout. All is not lost as both teams should be in the Championship pools. Illinois may have to wrestle a true 2nd match if KS beats AZ, but we should win that handily. Hopefully we get to see the rematch in the championship finals. Its not going to be easy for either squad to get there.
