Nick Purler's Dream Season Training Camp

Nick Purler’s Dream Season Training Camp (July 20-29 // St. Louis, MO) www.foundationwrestling.com

Average age was 14-17 last year and we expect the same for this season. We have some VERY skilled kids last year from all age levels. If you see our site, www.foundationwrestling.com and also the flyer attached, we clarify that kids must be 12-18, be in good athletic condition (ie…NO obese kids), and have a minimum of 3 COMPETITIVE years of wrestling experience.

I know for a fact our camp will help you for a few reason.

1. 90% of the points scored in wrestling come from 10% of the wrestling…this is the CORE technique. We look at the MOST COMMON positions in wrestling and look at the best few ways to score from these positions and this makes up our 10%.

2. Well….at a higher level, there is another layer of positions you find yourself in as the top kids do different things (like wrestling from a hip, etc when you hit a high crotch). So, at the DSC we cover these areas as well.

3. All said and done, you will NOT be exposed to 100s of random, unrelated wrestling techniques….but instead will drill the Purler / foundation wrestling system and leave camp knowing all of it.

4. We also spend ample time on defense, focus on smart wrestling vs hard wrestling, and spend a lot of time on positioning (becoming a wall).

Thanks and hope to get you involved.

Nick
