You got the name right. Daniel Brownfield from Storm (Brawlers in season) took first beating Mendez. He's one to keep an eye on. Vince Robinson lost to Keegan Roberson from Vittum.

Good competition from Mat 1 to Mat 5....wish they either had 1 more mat or split mat 1 in half....overall good competition though.......saw the best matches on Mat 1 and Mat 2 though

I agree with you on that one. The offseason tournament is ran mostly by the high school. The in season tournament is ran by the club. We all try to help out & we listened to all suggestions thru out the day and tried our best to have a well run tournament. Thanks to all who came out and supported. There was kids from Gomez, King Select, Harvery, Vittum, SCN, and course Jr. Raiders.

1 more mat wouldve helped but I just think they didn't expect this many kids I got there at 730 and there was a line to weigh in. But mat 1 and 2 did have the best matches.

There was a real good bracket on mat 2 that I noticed only because it was the first bracket. Two talented wrestlers battled in the final match of that bracket. I do not know names but it was close until the kid from the Storm ( i think because he had a lot of Storm coaches in his corner) pulled away in the final period to win by 5 or 6 but the final score is misleading because it was a well wrestled match by both wrestlers. I thought the refs did a pretty good job but I was only watching mats 2 and 3.
