reading comprehension is what you need to be paying attention to....
IKWF age, which for your son was 7, correct? pretty sure that was the rule. |

then why have rules... it matters because I'm sure other kids who have turned 8 prior to this event would have liked to wrestle as well .....if they knew they could have. |

big difference moving your kid up a division vs not being allowed to wrestle at an event. rule applies to all, not some? please.

They are ALL beasts. I've been on the ugly side of a C. White beat down. Not fun at all. But anyway, maybe someone could explain to me why this is a big deal again? Seems the kid was a DAY too young??? Maybe the father even didn't even know for sure? I know he coaches...a lot, and most coaches (and parents) I know aren't really sure about the IKWF ages of kids in these age groups. They tend to depend on the tournament registrars to put it right. Did anyone see any actual matches? Which were some good ones... |

Tappedout 12/31/of the year is right I thought it was 1/1 so he shouldnt have been able to wrestle

It was a whey protein, and skim milk shake. I didn't say they should eat God given food, I said they should wrestle at their God given weight. My children do not eat fried foods or drink soda. And I don't need to starve my child so that he can say he's a champion. All I am saying is if everyone was sensible, we'd be on an even playing field. But since we're not, I guess it's an even greater accomplishment that my kids wrestled his true weight, which was 1.5 lbs lower than the limit, and placed against kids who probably cut 5-7 lbs. That math says my kid was probably wrestling against kids that weighed upward of 8 lbs more than him. In the big picture, what price glory?
