My only reason for posting is that I wanted him to be a part of a great event. I was not saying he would beat or anyone would beat him. Great event to display your talent. Kyle Williams from Mascoutah wrestled in this several years ago and not many people thought he should. He tech. falled his guy and in now an NAIA three time all american. Just supporting our kids from the south. Like I said. Many deserving kids.

Well, I went to Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights. I have buddies that went to Andrew, LWE, LWN, Rita, Provi, Plainfield Central, the list goes on...

What facts? That they both had 1 loss? Moylan to Brill (Ranked top 10 in nation) by 1 pt, and Mayes to IDK because you refuse to tell me who he lost to? Not to mention Moylan has a tougher schedule than Mayes.
And I'd take Moylan in a heartbeat. No doubt about it.

P.S. turn off the caps lock. It doesn't prove a point. The only thing that proves your point is a logical explanation, which nobody (except you) seems to agree with your reasoning.

I do not think anyone is belittling anyone, but if you consider that belittling then you are doing the same thing to Moylan. Also, most people on here are trying to say Moylan is more deserving because of the schedule he wrestled and the kids he beat. Moylan want out and looked for the competition in the off season, Mayes could have done the same, but chose not to for other reasons.

I'm not trying to belittle mayes. He is a state champ (something I never did) and is a hell of a wrestler. I just think Moylan is better. Plain and simple.

You're right, people do have different wrestling styles and that should be taken into consideration. Mayes, from what I've seen of him has a great shot and is always attacking in neutral. Do you know who else who has a style a lot like that? Bryce Brill. The same nationally ranked wrestler Moylan beat in the finals. Moylan was able to stop Brills on coming shots with great shot defense, and ended up winning in TB. By those facts, I am willing to bet that Moylan beats Mayes.

Mayes only beat Johny Major 13-2 but Moylan teched him in the beggining of second period at Dekalb. Moylan was also the only kid who took tsirtsis down in a couple of years. so..mayes doesnt have a chance against moylan. plain and simple

If i remember correctly, the only time Moylan scored is when Tsirtsis let him up 3 times.
