Disagree. 138 in 2a had 2 good kids, 138 in 3a was much deeper. The top 2 kids were tough, but I think langenderfer beats both of em. It was definatelt not "much harder"

I totally agree with you. And YOU CANNOT CLEARLY SAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER than the JV kid at some school in Alaska. Since they have never wrestled him head to head you have no idea if that JV kid in Alaska has the wrestling style to beat all 3 of them.

Most wrestlers have never faced every other wrestler at or around their weight class. If you want to distinguish them, rank them, give out spots on a dual team or just give an opinion of who's better what criteria would you suggest using? Oh wait do you want to list accomplishments and opponents beaten to show why they are better than the JV kid now? GET OFF OF YOUR HIGH HORSE

Its just like the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater...they went undefeated in college football last year. They didnt play Alabama last year, so how can anyone say that Alabama is better than UWW????

Im not a very good judge of people being sarcastic but I assume you are being sarcastic lol. First off, I think alabama would spank them but im an lsu fan... lol but it is true you cannot say anyone is better regardless if they have faced or not. And even if they have, ANYONE CAN LOSE ON ANY GIVEN DAY. I recall my fav. wrestler to watch T-RAM lose to Benni Marti 8-4. Does that mean that Marti is better? No, it just proves anyone can be beat on any given day. I do not know nor do I care who would win out of mayes/moylan or brill/mayes. But I STICK TO THE FACTS. YOU CANNOT SAY SOMEONE IS BETTER IF THEY HAVE NEVER FACED THEM, REGARDLESS OF COMMON OPPONENTS AND EXPOSURE. AND YOU CANNOT DETERMINE SOMEONE WILL BEAT THE OTHER BECAUSE THEY WON 3A AND THE OTHER WON 2A.

I went to Sycamore which is a AA school now when I went there we were also AA in the 2 class system.I'm not saying that Mayes isn't good but being 37 and been around the sport my whole life and seen wrestling all over the country I just don't believe Moylan vs Mayes would even be close.We all have are own opinions and that's mine.I don't know either kid just seen them both wrestle at least 15 times over the last 2 years and have watched Moylan be more dominate against better kids.
