Down Under Sports Program?

Ok, did anyone else get offers for the "DownUnderSports" program in Australia for July of next year? Any one been? Is it a scam or a "once in a life time" opportunity? Any input would be GREATLY appreciated b/c that's A LOT of money to try to raise. Thanks!!

Most of these programs are legitimate opportunities. They are basically like foreign exchange wrestling and site seeing vacations. They are pretty much package deals. Although, if you are considering it you should approach it with a buyer beware mentality. Do not provide them with any personal information or credit card information until you have done your homework and do not send any money out of the country. Wire scams to foreign countries have been one of the most popular ways to steal money.

I can't say if it is a "scam" or not just research it http://www.downundersports.com

however when i was in high school i did something like that...i believe the group was called International Sports Specialist Incooperated, then... I will say that my time there was good. We left early July got to Sydney...saw the Olympic sites...flew to the Gold Coast... 1day was practice...1 day was and individual Freestyle meet...1 day was a team tournament. then tie in some site seeing...and a stop in Hawaii for 3 days...if it is not a "scam" it is well worth it...

I went on this very trip in 2001. It was a great time and worth the money. However from a strictly wrestling perspective you'll end up being disappointed if you are spending your money with hopes of improving your skills and facing top of the line competition.

The competition was pretty good, but considering Illinois is arguably the top Freestyle and Greco state in the United States, you can find the same quality in your backyard.

It is definitely legit though as RMS stated that if you go for the wrestling you will be highly disappointed. It is more for the experience.

I actually wanted to do this when I was in HS but didn't have the money. I want to say it was about 2002 or 2003. I later found out that my best friend in college was on this trip the year I wanted to go. It was extremely weird knowing I could've potentially met the dude 4 years earlier.
