Chad Red from Indiana?

When did Illinois acquire the rights to Chad Red from Indiana? This kid is a stud, what high school does he plan on attending in Illinois?

I think there was an injury and he was a last minute fill in.

The Cobalt Blue team has some out of state kids as well.

Wrong, he was on the roster that was posted before the tournament even started. I was also wondering the same thing, especially since we have no shortage of great talent around his weight.

Chad Red?

Chad,sr is an Illinois home grown product so cut his boy some slack, lol. It isn't the first time CJ has been on an Illinois all star team.

BTW, Chad sr, was just named Head Coach at New Palestine HS near INDY. CJ will be his 106lber next year.

Tried to give coaches some benefit of the doubt. Some "interesting" roster decisions seem to have cost O&B the title.

oarnge and blue

Some decisions were made last minute due to injuries and other problems. The coaching staff did a great job with the kids I also know the kids wrestled to full potential.I don't look at it as "costing a title" more Illinois Orange took 4th place in a very tough tourny.Special thanks to Lanning,Hayes,Punke and the rest of coaches. It was a great time for adults and kids.

Anyone have the IL Orange, IL Cobalt or IL Outsiders HS stats to post?
