Trackwrestling
I hear lots of people getting scared of an opponent before their match because their opponent is ranked high on Trackwrestling. What does anybody think of this

Track wrestling should only be a tool to gain some insight on one's opponent etc. If a kid wrestles up that is not taken into account. The strength of one's schedule and events they attend, seem to not be taken into account etc.
I would say it is more for the fathers/mothers to look at than the wrestlers. My sons can't remember who they wrestled last week. Unless something really memorable happens with an award or something. However, if you let your son on track and he reads about how some kid is in the top 100 wrestlers in the country. And has never lost etc in 3 years etc. I do see how it can be intimidating. I mean we would like to say it doesnt happen, but it does to some extent. Take track for what it is for. Another tool to aid in wrestling. Because what one wins, is so based on who is wrestling , styles etc. I have seen kids that are supposed to be not good, give really good kids fits. Than the next match they beat the national champion. So it is all relative and a match by match event. And till they are in 6th or 7th grade. Let's be honest, you never know what kid is going to show up that day.

Trackwrestling
After using trackwrestling this past weekend to run the WSC Wrestling Fest, I have to say it is the best tournament software out there. Trackwrestling has the flexibility, thoroughness and efficiency that other programs lack. Coach Dan Verr was brought in to run the tournament utilizing trackwrestling and he was as impressive as the program. He runs some of the biggest tournaments in Illinois and would recommend him if you are running a tournament of 500 or more. His experience and professionalism will help you elevate your tournament to the elite level.
Kudos again to track and Coach Dan Verr. They both were truly the difference this year at the Wrestling Fest. Dan, your hard work was appreciated and irreplaceble.
