This will be our families first time to the State Tournament and it seems that we may have missed the boat on hotel rooms. Does anyone have experience with this? Will rooms come available within the next day or so with cancellations from the weekend sectional results?

Go to expedia.com and search for Rockford, IL and the dates & number of rooms you need. There are many room available. The Days Inn of Rockford has rooms for a little over $50/night. I have stayed at the Rockford Super 8 many times and it is ok. The Super 8 doesn't appear to have rooms available with 2 beds though. You will be at the Metre Centre most of the time anyway, so all you need is a clean place to sleep.
