Numbers doubled for the Rumble by the River

Dear Wrestlers, Coaches and Parents,

ONLY 3 DAYS LEFT TO REGISTER FOR THE USA WRESTLING RUMBLE BY THE RIVER WRESTLING TOURNAMENT. Registration closes this Sunday at Midnight!!

We do not plan on opening up the matrix or wrestler list until registration has closed. But I will say the numbers are double what we were last year with 3 days left to register.

We still need around 30 Volunteers... If you would like to Volunteer, please visit the "Volunteers" link on the tournament web site.

just some general numbers in classes

if the numbers have doubled, then there could be posted some numbers and weight classes information to help us out.

Are you listening ?

Despite numerous requests on various forums to release matrix information you keep posting how big the "Rumble" is. I can only speak for myself since my son is going with his club. If this tournament is dud and my son ends up wrestling his practice partner, I will not forget or forgive. An honest man has nothing to hide. I would imagine there will be several vocal fathers next week either singing the praises or speaking very poorly of the "Rumble". If the numbers are poor just say so and save yourself the grief, if they are good show it and more will sign up. Like I said, my son is going no matter what. I know you read this forum. Do us all a favor, be honest.

I am being honest.. I NEVER said the tournament was big... I Just said at the same exact time last year with three days left to register we had double the number of wrestlers this year. So please dont put words in my mouth.. This tournament is new and its a work in progress. On Friday the numbers were double what they were last year 3 days before the registration deadline... Last year was the first year and our numbers were small.. This year we will have more than last year... hopefully next year they will be more than this year...

So why not post the matrix? We all know its a new tournament and are not expecting huge numbers. That being said there is no reason not to post the numbers. It might really help bring more wrestlers if they know they will have enough matchs.
