Any Triple Crown winners this year?

Doesn't the triple crown involve winning folk, freestyle, and Greco championships? The freestyle and Greco national tournaments have not taken place yet. So to answer your question not yet. Anyone from Illinois that won the folkstyle nationals is still alive to be a triple crown

I was thinking more along the lines of the State Triple Crown.

What is the state triple crown? IHSA state, IKWF state, and.....? IESA?

I know Congenie won the folkstyle nationals out in Cedar Falls. He did win Freestyle state, but I am unsure if he is going to wrestle greco. I didn't see him in the brackets for greco state. As far as I know he would be the only kid that has a shot at it this year.

I thought it was the IHSA, Freestyle and Greco State Championship

I think the only person to do it this year is Tommy Pawelski of Montini. Cortez and Reel had a shot going into greco state.

You are probably right. I just never heard it referred to as the triple crown.
