Adjusted Greco-Roman State Tournament Timetable
 

The following is a statement from Illinois/USA Wrestling.

Illinois/USA Wrestling believes in the Curby Cup which honors the memory of an outstanding individual, Jacob Curby, a former Team Illinois wrestler and coach.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Illinois Greco-Roman State Championships and the Curby Cup were scheduled for the same weekend. In our effort to fully support Greco-Roman wrestling and the Curby Cup, we are changing the Greco-Roman State Tournament timetable so there is NO conflict with the Curby Cup. We will end wrestling by 3:30 pm on Saturday. ALL age groups will wrestle both days. As soon as it's been finalized we will post the adjusted timetable at ilusaw.com.

Also, The Curby Cup organizers are allowing all Greco-Roman State Tournament participants FREE admission to this year's event.

Greco State and the Curby Cup should be part of greco state at the same venue every year.

A big think you to IL/USAW for working things out in a way that promotes the great sport of Greco wrestling in this state. It will be a phenomenal weekend!
