Tots and Bantams should always be run separately from the Novice & Senior divisions. A separate weigh-in for Novice & Seniors.
9am start for Tots and Bantams and 12 pm start for Novice and Senior.
Less bigger kids in the gym with the little ones and a much more family friendly environment.

THEY SHOULD OUTLAW TAKING A BREAK!!!! You might as well drive a minivan out onto the mat and have a commercial. Then we can start selling ad space on our singlets.
I get you need money, but come on.

has anyone ever tried hosting an event for only Novice and Senior wrestlers - that wasn't an elite tournament, that is?
at Wheaton this past weekend they ran Seniors in a separate gym - it was like their own event.
something along those lines, but on a slightly larger scale.
perhaps a Seniors event with open and elite divisions.??
I'm just brainstorming here ...

If you have ideas about how we could make IKWF tournaments better pleaee postthem here. I am interested in ideas that could decrease wait times for older wrestlers, shorten events to something closer to 4 hours instead of some of these meets that stretch out to ten hours from weigh ins to exit of the last seniors. More wrestling, Less waiting.
